Cancellations:
- You have a 24-hour window after placing your order to request a cancellation. This allows us to adjust our inventory and processing before your order ships.
- We do not offer cancellation on special edition pre-orders such as Onyx Storm, The Rebel Witch, Once Upon a broken Heart – Hardcover etc if 24 hours have passed since you made the order. This is because of the special nature and exclusivity of these titles.
- A cancellation fee may apply to cover non-refundable processing charges we incur through PayPal/Stripe. This fee is typically 4.40% + $0.30 USD per transaction.
- Any false chargebacks will be replied accordingly. Write to customer service and this may make things quicker.
Returns and Refunds:
- We offer easy replacement for damaged books if they qualify after checking that the books are really damaged.
- To initiate a return, simply contact our friendly customer service team at read@hemingwaybookstores.com. They’ll guide you through the return process and provide a return shipping label.
- Once we receive the returned book(s) in their original condition, we’ll replace the books at no additional charge.

- Customs are paid by customers, shipping cost covers only the shipping and handling.
- Proof of Purchase: Please keep your order confirmation email or receipt for your records. It helps us expedite the return or refund process.
Combined vs. Split Shipping:
- We prioritize offering the most economical shipping options. Orders with multiple books, even if they have different shipping timelines, will typically be combined into one shipment to save you money.
- Want it Faster? We understand sometimes speed is a priority. You can opt for split shipments at an additional cost. Please contact us before placing your order to discuss split shipment options and pricing.
False Claims and Chargebacks:
We take customer satisfaction very seriously. However, initiating a false chargeback or claim can lead to a permanent ban from using our services and making future purchases from our store.
